Early access, custom heraldry and an interview

Airships: Conquer the Skies

The game is now complete enough that I can soon offer an "early access" version. I'm currently building the infrastructure for this, and the game will be available in about two weeks.

At this stage, the game will cost $5, a price that will rise as it matures. For that, you get access to regular development builds, and also a registration code for a multiplayer account. Through this account, you can claim a coat of arms, which will be unique to you, and displayed on your ships in multiplayer as well as in the game forums.

For an extra $20, I will draw you a custom heraldic charge. The charge is the "logo" used in the coat of arms, such as the eagle in the example below. You will be the only one able to use that charge in your coat of arms. You also get my extreme gratitude for supporting the project at this early stage.

Note that charges are pretty small and simple: they can be up to 14x14 pixels and are all the same color. And I'm going to reject and refund silly requests like genitals or things too complicated to represent. Here's one I already did for a friend, who wanted a platypus rampant. (Truly a noble creature!)

Also, I got interviewed on the topic of Airships by IndieGraph. Check it out, they have some good questions.
