With Mac OS 9, Apple introduced the ability to launch applications and open folders and files by pressing specific function keys. However, if you use this handy ability of OS 9, you will run out of Fkeys very quickly.

That is why Fkey Expander was programmed. Using it you can create files that point to up to ten other files. You can then configure Mac OS to open an Fkey Expander file, greatly increasing the number of things you can access just by pressing a few keys on your keyboard.
